This landscape that captures the calm view from my cottage deck. Two tall evergreens frame the scene, with a quiet lake in the centre reflecting the surrounding trees and sky. I focused on rich greens and blues, with warm tones in the foreground to create depth. The brushwork adds texture and life to the scene without overcomplicating it. This piece is about stillness and colour in nature.
