Artist Statement

My work is rooted in a love for nature and expressed through bold abstraction. I paint to capture the emotional resonance of a place—the quiet energy of a forest, the warmth of sunlit growth, or the calm rhythm of water meeting land. 

Using watercolour, acrylics, oil, and mixed media, I create layered, intuitive compositions that distill natural forms into expressive lines and rich colour fields. While the inspiration comes from real landscapes and plants, the outcome is more about feeling than representation. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind exploration of mood, movement, and connection to the natural world. 

Collectors are often drawn to my work for its balance of vibrancy and calm, structure and spontaneity. These paintings are made to bring life, warmth, and a sense of grounded beauty into the home. Whether as a quiet focal point or a bold statement, each piece is designed to resonate personally and live meaningfully in the spaces it inhabits.
